Facial revitalisation Acupuncture (also known as cosmetic acupuncture) has become a popular alternative to cosmetic surgery, in many parts of the world including US and Japan.

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is a non-surgical technique. It is more than a cosmetic procedure because it is designed to rejuvenate and revitalize your whole body. You will not only see the years melt away on your face but you will also feel younger.

Does it really make a difference? 

Many sources indicate that acupuncture has been used for almost 5,000 years to treat a wide range of conditions. Having proven itself with literally billions of people, Acupuncture has survived the test of time. The use of Acupuncture in Cosmetology -- especially in preventing and reducing wrinkles -- has already attracted great attention in many Eastern and Western countries. The effectiveness of Acupuncture is due to its direct manipulation of the body's energy system -- balancing, removing blockages or adding energy when necessary.

A 1996 report in the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture reported that among 300 cases treated with Cosmetic Acupuncture, 90% had marked effects with one course of treatment. What is the course of treatment? 
Generally, it consists of 10 to 15 treatments each appointment once or twice a week until the package is complete. The effects become most noticeable and lasting after the seventh session. Each person responds differently, depending on his/ her condition prior to treatment and lifestyle. Following the initial course of facial rejuvenation acupuncture, maintenance or “booster” sessions at each change of season can prolong the results from two to five years. Most clients see results by the 7th or 8th session and usually report a healthy “radiance” for 24 hours after each session.
